A Discussion Paper on Connecting Health Services with the Future: Modernising Medicare by Providing Rebates for Online Consultations
The Department of Health and Ageing has released a discussion paper on proposed telehealth e-consultations to be funded under Medicare.
In November 2010, the Department of Health and Ageing invited submissions/feedback from stakeholders on the issues raised in the discussion paper, and the initiative in general. The Department sought information from interested parties including those who may be looking to utilise these services from 1 July 2011. Click here for a copy of the discussion paper.
