Capital sensitivity exemption changes to diagnostic imaging services

Existing capital sensitivity arrangements prior to 17 September 2022, allowed providers to seek an exemption if there had been unforeseen delays updating or replacing equipment but only if the equipment was updated or replaced within three months. From 17 September 2022, amendments were made to the Diagnostic Imaging Services Table to enable new arrangements to be considered when granting an exemption.
